Introduced in 1998, BMA is an Egyptian limited liability company specialized in the design and manufacture of high tech medical equipment, precisely extra corporeal shock wave lithotripsy systems “E.S.W.L.”, surgical operating tables, operating room instruments and accessories, patient transport trolley, crush carts etc…While it’s current manufacturing plant is located in the 3rd industrial zone in 6th of October City, the Company started the civil works in it’s new factory , planned over 2000 square meters in Abo-Rawash industrial zone, and scheduled to start production by the end of the year 2003 The distinguished clients of the company honorably include military forces hospitals, University hospitals , ministry of health and private sector hospitals.

1- E.S.W.L. :
Model MT1-RX for disintegration of kidney stones from outside the body, using electro-hydraulic energy source and an ellipsoid reflector. The system is modular in design with separate components that can be moved freely within the hospital, and features a revolutionary rotating reflector reaching all urinary stones while the patient is in the supine position. It can couple with any standard C-arm X-ray imager and/or ultrasound scanner simultaneously for optimum targeting of all stone types at any location.
2- Surgical operating tables:
Amazingly custom designed in close collaboration with the requesting surgeon to achieve total satisfaction and zero surcharge by eliminating non useful components and realizing all angulations and height control according to the order form chart; an unprecedented luxury and yet a must in view of current economic conditions. Various models from classical hydraulic foot operated mechanism up to infera red remote controlled electrical system with battery back-up and different memory positions – All in top quality stainless steel frame and electro-conductive, radiolucent, anti-static foam top.
3- Crush cart the CC1-S:
Is the ultimate companion of the emergency team in every hospital. Once again: custom designed to achieve built-in components, firmly fitted in place, ergonomic and handy at all times.
4- Operating theatre instrument trays:
Hydraulic lifting, or simply manually controlled variable height, all in stainless steel with smooth outline and deep drawn trays. No hard-to-clean corners or sharp cutting edge hazard. The scope of products includes double bowl stands, kick buckets, dressing trolleys and many other specially designed hospital equipment as patient transport trolley PT-1.
