1. American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt




Efforts to establish an American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt date back to the 1950s, when Hassan El Abd initiated the idea. In 1974, when President Anwar El Sadat initiated the Open Door policy. The constitution and bylaws outlined the following goals of an American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt is to create a friendlier business environment by facilitating communication between businessmen; to provide a network for sharing business information about Egypt and addressing common problems, to represent the views of American businessmen in Egypt to public and private interests in the United States, and to establish a line of communication between businessmen and the Egyptian government, helping to "improve the atmosphere" for business in Egypt. President is Dr. Taher Helmy, Executive Vice president Mr. Gamal Moharam, Executive Vice president Mr. Dan Mc Carthy .

The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) was founded in 1951 as one of over 70 German Chambers of Commerce woldwide (AHK) under the auspices of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK). From its inception, the primary goals of the Chamber were to promote trade between Germany and Egypt, uncap new markets for industries and ensure sustainable economic relations between the two countries taking into consideration the social, political and cultural aspects of each.

3. Port Saic Chamber of Commerce




Port Said Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest chambers in Egypt as it was established in 1937 due to the strategic importance of Port Said harbour for both the home and foreign trade activities .

The Chamber of Commerce is considered one of the state instruments for economic planning as it plays a role in coordinating and organizing the different trade sectors ( Production – Export – Distribution – Import ) the purpose is to raise the efficiency of trade activities .

4. CFI




The Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries (CFI) has been established by the Presidential Decree number 453 of the year 1958, and directed by a board consists of 15 members (10 elected + 5 selected) assisted by chamber executive council. By performing the availability of data and information, the council of CFI meets the economical and industrial needs of the members of the food industries society in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Arab world, and foreign countries to ease and support the industrial and commercial relations between Egypt and the other countries.
Mission:
The Chamber of Food Industries is committed to develop and promote the Egyptian food industry. It represents manufacturers, importers, exporters, and growers, and assists them to compete successfully as well as to attain and maintain a suitable environment for investment by influencing policy-making, and by providing scientific research, advanced technical expertise, and all information to continually upgrade and serve the interests of the industry.

6. The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce




The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce was established by the two Governments in 1981 as a UK company limited by guarantee.
Its purpose is to enhance trade and investment between Egypt and the United Kingdom by providing information and advice, by organising seminars, conferences, informal meetings and trade missions, and by certifying documents for British Chambers on behalf of UK exporters to Egypt.


The Chamber also provides the Secretariat for the British Egyptian Business Council and Round Table, and is in the process of establishing an Investment Office on behalf of the Egyptian Government. As a private sector organisation, we cooperate closely with both Governments as well as with other organisations concerned with business between the two countries.
