تحتفـل بعيدها القومى سنويا فى ذكرى إنتصـار الشعب المصرى على الصلبيين سنة 1250 فى عهد الدولة الايوبية حيث أسر ملك فرنسا لويس التاسع وسجن بدار إبن لقمان بالمنصورة وتم الافراج عنه فى 7 مايو بعد أن دفـعت زوجته فديـة كبيرة
مساحتها 25 كم2 وتعداد سكانها 380 ألف نسمة
المنصورة عبارة عن مجموعة من الوحدات الإدارية تقع جميعها شـرق نـهر النيـل فـرع دمـياط
المساحة الكلية ( 346 )كم2 حوالى 10% من مـساحة المحافظـة
المساحة المزروعـة (272 )كم2 من أخصـب أراضـى الدلتــا
أهم المحاصيل: [ الذرة الشامية * القطن * القمح * الأرز ] حيث يتمتع المركز بأعلى إنتاجية للفدان عدد السـكان حوالى (820000 نسمة ) تـقريبــا |
